WeDo 2.0 使用 Bluetooth Low Energy（BLE），就是Bluetooth 4.0規範，也造成許多裝置無法認得WeDo 2.0 Hub，現在樂高官方推出WeDo 2.0 Developer Kits，如果玩家瞭解這方面，應該可以自行撰寫程式與WeDo 2.0 Hub 連線。

另外因應越來越多單位及個人使用Chromebook，EV3 樂高機器人及WeDo 2.0也推出Chromebook版本的App。
EV3 Chromebook App跟 iOS版本的EV3 App相同，具有EV3軟體的部份功能。
WeDo 2.0版本的Chromebook App連結在此。
